Instructions:

SKY:

• Silk Mori color 1112 Flame (2 plies) in mosaic stitch, worked diagonally

• Silk Mori color 2024 Medium Buttercup (2 plies) in mosaic stitched worked diagonally

TREES:

• Top: Fine #8 Braid color 009 Emerald in basketweave stitch

• Trunk: Fine #8 Braid color 022 Brown and 005L Blinding Black in half cross stitch

WATER:

• Fine #8 Braid color 029L Dyelectric Blue in basketweave stitch and 032 Pearl in half cross stitch; Color 005L Blinding Flack in continental stitch

FLAMINGOS:

• Small bird: Fine #8 Braid 024L Fiery Fuchsia in half cross stitch for outline and continental stitch for body; 007 Pink in basketweave stitch and half cross stitch; Eye is 005L Blinding Black in half cross stitch, 032 Pearl and 005L Blinding Black for beak.

• Large bird: Fine #8 Braid in 007 Pink for body in basketweave stitch. Color 024L Fiery Fuchsia for outline in half cross stitch. Eye is 005L Blinding Black in half cross stitch, 032 Pearl and 005L Blinding Black for beak.

• Foliage: Fine #8 Braid 009 Emerald and 015L Laser Lime in continental stitch. Outline is 005L Blinding Black in half cross stitch.

FLOWERS:

• Small: Fine #8 Braid in 007 Pink in basketweave stitch. Outline 005L Blinding Black in half cross stitch. Center 002HL Gold Hi Lustre in half cross stitch.

• Large: Fine #8 Braid 024L Fiery Fuchsia in basketweave stitch, outline in 005L Blinding Black in half cross stitch, center in 002Hl Gold Hi Lustre in half cross stitch.

FINISHING:

Block canvas if necessary to restore shape.

1. Cut off excess selvage, leaving 2 canvas threads.

2. Carefully remove the paper from the adhesive layer. Place the stitched needlepoint into the sticky layer. Make the fine adjustments if necessary and glue down edge of the opening to the needlepoint selvage. A plastic knife or popsicle stick is a handy way to apply the glue. Just don't apply too much glue.
