Bunny Hop Ornament

This fun little ornament can be stitched in no time. The new holographic blue metallic thread makes the background have depth and dimension. It creates a truly spectacular stitched night sky.

Materials needed:

• one 5m skein Silk Mori 8000
• one reel Fine #8 Braid 001L
• one reel Fine #8 Braid 002L
• one reel 1/16" Ribbon 033L

• Tapestry needles

Instructions:

Find the Kathy Schenkel canvas in needlepoint stores. Google search "Kathy Schenkel Needlepoint" or "LP044 Bunny With Moon Heart"

1. The rabbit tale is worked in French Knots. use 3 strands of Silk Mori 8000. The white rabbit is worked in the Nobuko stitch. Use 3 strands of Silk Mori 8000.

2. The stars are worked in a Star Filling stitch variation. Use 1 strand of Tapestry #12 Braid 001L.

3. The moon is worked in Interlocking Gobelin. use 1 strand of Fine #8 Braid 002L.

4. The sky is worked in Byzantine #2. use 1 strand of 1/16" Ribbon 003L
