The Aroma of Lavender

Design Size: 5.5" square on 22-ct
Call it Lavender therapy if you will, this little Hardanger peace (er, piece) is good for a stitcher's soul. Spend an hour a day with the rich purple shades of soft Silk Mori and Silk Serica threads. If needlework can be meditation, there's nothing more satisfying that laying thread in the Satin Stitch (nice smooth, even strokes creating a surface of maximum light reflection). Use it to make Kloster Blocks out of Silk Serica, noting the luminescent texture of this filament silk.
Materials needed:
- Kreinik Silk Serica¨ in 6123, 6124, 6126
- Kreinik Silk Mori¨ (2.5m skein of each) in 6123, 6124, 6126
- Zweigart 22-count Oslo Hardanger fabric in white
