    Simply irresistible recipes


 

    Hash Brown Potato Bake
    From the kitchen of Henna Datta
     
    One of our readers shares a delicious recipe she discovered. She flavored the dish with her own special touch. Great for a special breakfast treat!
Ingredients:
  •  
    • 1 lb. frozen hash browns thawed
    • 1 medium onion, chopped
    • 1/2 lb. bacon, diced, cooked
    • 1 can condensed cream of chicken soup
    • 10-3/4 oz. sour cream
    • 6 oz. cheddar cheese, shredded
    • 2 cups rice toasted cereal
    • 4 tbsp. butter, melted
       
  • Method:
     
    1. Arrange thawed hash browns in 13 x 9 x 2-ich baking pan.
    2. Mix in onion and bacon.
    3. Combine soup and sour cream.
    4. Pour over top of potato mixture.
    5. Combine cereal and butter.
    6. Sprinkle over the top of cheese.
    7. Bake at 300 degrees for 40 minutes or until heated through.
